Oak Bluffs Oktoberfest

Bringing a touch of Bavarian tradition to Martha’s Vineyard, the Oak Bluffs Oktoberfest is a lively, family-friendly celebration of German culture, music, food, and community. Set against the charming backdrop of Oak Bluffs, this event will feature authentic brews, brats, and plenty of fun for all ages.

Highlights:

German Beer Garden – Sample local and imported German-style beers, including selections from Bad Martha’s Vineyard Brewery and other regional favorites. (Must be 21+ with valid ID.)

Authentic German Fare – Enjoy bratwurst, pretzels, schnitzel, sauerkraut, and apple strudel from island vendors and guest chefs.

Live Oompah Band & Folk Music – Dance to traditional Bavarian tunes performed by a live band, followed by local folk and acoustic acts.

Artisan Market – Browse handmade crafts, German-inspired goods, and island-made products from Vineyard artisans.

Family Fun Zone – Face painting, stein-holding contests, sack races, and a mini pumpkin patch for kids.

Oktoberfest Bike Parade – Kick off the festivities with a themed bike parade through Oak Bluffs (costumes encouraged!).

Tickets:

General Admission: Free entry (food/drinks available for purchase)

VIP Tasting Ticket: $50 (includes beer tasting flight, food voucher, and reserved seating)

Rain Plan: Event will move to The Tabernacle or The Barn Bowl & Bistro if weather is unfavorable.
